QUARTET RHYMES

(Part 1)

Safeguard your Christian IDENTITY

Uphold your moral CHASTITY

Never compromise your SPIRITUALITY

It separates us from all HUMANITY

Despite PERSECUTION

And even OPPOSITION

Maintain your POSITION

And face the SITUATION

Jehovah’s day is NEAR

God’s word has made this CLEAR

Though we do not know the YEAR

We have no need to FEAR

More so now never lose your spiritual VISION

But forge ahead in your spiritual MISSION

Never slow down your spiritual MOTION

Rather keep in step with the spiritual NATION

Despite apathy and COLDNESS

Preach God's word with BOLDNESS

Tactfully and yet with FIRMNESS

But do so in a spirit of MILDNESS

Forget the long STORY

Just say SORRY

Make peace in a HURRY

And avoid too much WORRY

To avoid DRIFTING

Never forsake the MEETING

Actively share in PREACHING

And your bible keep on READING

Preach God’s word with ZEAL

As Jesus you should FEEL

The way he viewed God’s WILL

Viewing it as his MEAL

Truly love is KIND

Injury it does not keep in MIND

Nor fault does it seek to FIND

But in unity it does us BIND

The world’s end is in SIGHT

Please keep doing what is RIGHT

Serve Jehovah with all your MIGHT

And keep walking in his LIGHT

Am happy to be AMONG

Jehovah’s congregated THRONG

Of seven million STRONG

It’s where I should BELONG

To be Jehovah’s GUEST

And enter his REST

And be shielded in his NEST

-         Give him your BEST

To Jehovah you should PRAY

Doing so every DAY

That you may never STRAY

Or deviate from the WAY

Put Jehovah FIRST

Give him your BEST

Never put him to the TEST

But serve him with full ZEST

With utmost GLADNESS

Bear thorough WITNESS

To the goodnews of God’s undeserved KINDNESS

To all who search for him in TRUENESS

Keep on the WATCH

The time to the end is not so MUCH

So keep burning your Christian TORCH

And never be left in the LURCH

To know Jehovah more INTIMATELY

Follow the Christ CONTINUALLY

Doing so more FULLY

As you live your live DAILY

Vindicate Jehovah’s SOVEREIGNTY

As well as his name SANCTITY
by upholding your own INTEGRITY

As you press on to full MATURITY

Imitating God, we need be clean SPIRITUALLY

As well as MORALLY

Not neglecting MENTALLY

And of course PHYSICALLY

Keep walking in God’s way of LIGHT

Whether in the morning, noon or NIGHT

Never turn to the left or RIGHT

But walk straight to the end in SIGHT

Learn to show true EMPATHY

That goes beyond just SYMPATHY

Cultivate this good QUALITY

In the home, the congregation and the MINISTRY

May your love for Jah be NON-NEGOTIABLE

Your faith UNSHAKABLE

Your zeal UNQUENCHABLE

And your integrity UNBREAKABLE

Let God’s will be DONE

Under the hand of his dear SON

When all man’s woes are GONE

Yes let God’s kingdom COME
